Scandia Family Fun Center is a kid’s fantasy land which includes two 18-hole miniature golf courses with tiny buildings, bridges, and waterways. And the Lil’ Indy Raceway gives a racing experience with its straight track and banked turns.

If you hap­pen to have some Peanuts fans in the fam­ily, visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum and research cen­ter. This fun, laid­back museum has some inter­est­ing exhibits about the famed car­toon­ist and his beloved Peanuts char­ac­ters. Directly across the street is Snoopy’s Home Ice sta­dium for ice skat­ing with the family.

Hiking/Walking

The university is near several state and county regional parks.  Opening hours vary but most operate from dawn to dusk.  Both regional and state parks charge vehicles to enter and park.  The fee varies between $5-8 per vehicle

Stars Under the Stars Outdoor Film Festival

Pack a blanket and join St. Francis Winery on the lawn of their beautiful Sonoma Valley Tasting Room for a film under the stars. Back for its eighth year, the Stars Under the Stars Outdoor Film Festival takes place every Thursday night at the Winery from July 6 to July 27. Seating on the lawn begins at 7 p.m. with a pre-show concert and wine reception. El Coyote Food Truck will be serving delicious Mexican food available for purchase. The feature film begins at dusk. Festival sommelier and film aficionado Christopher Sawyer will pair St. Francis’ world class wines with world class films.
