On campus housing will be available for Summer Institute participants in the University’s nationally recognized dorm facilities. Participants will stay in Sauvignon Village. Rooms are organized into six-person suites that include a shared living space, kitchen and eating area (see floor plan below).
Participants may register for a single occupancy room ($130/night) or choose to share a room with another person ($100/night). Rates are per person, per night and include the following:
- Bed space with private bathroom
- 3 meals in the Kitchens per night of stay (starting with dinner on arrival date and ending with lunch on departure date)
- Shared use of the Recreational Center and the residential swimming pool
- Assistance during check in
- 24 hour service desk
Summer Institute participants who do not wish to stay in campus housing may choose from several area hotels. However, please note that Sonoma County is a popular tourist destination during the summer months and that hotel room availability may be extremely limited or non-existent during the dates of the Summer Institute. For that reason we encourage all attendees to consider on campus housing, which we believe offers the most convenient and affordable option.
The following properties are the closest to the Sonoma State University campus.
Please note that you will need a car to travel to/from all of these properties to campus. Once on campus you will need to purchase a parking permit each day.
