Conference attendees have two different airport options for getting to Laramie, including:
Laramie Regional Airport (Only United Airlines has a direct flight to Laramie. From here, it is a 20 minute drive into downtown Laramie. There is only Hertz car rental available at the Laramie airport.)
Denver International Airport (From here, it is a 2 hour drive to Laramie. There are numerous car rental options at the Denver International Airport.)

– Greyhound Transportation
– Green Ride The Green Ride (GR) Shared ride Airport Shuttle service provides a low cost environmentally friendly transportation service between Denver International Airport, Fort Collins, and Southern Wyoming. In a GR Shared Ride, you share the vehicle with other travelers while also sharing the overall cost of the service. GR Shared ride helps the environment by eliminating the need for travelers to drive to DIA or get a ride with a friend or family member. Laramie drop-offs are at the Hilton Garden Inn, the UWyo Washakie Dining Center (next to Downey Hall), and the WYOTECH Campus Courtyards.
– MALCS Ride Board MALCS has set up an online bulletin board for members to coordinate shared rides/SI transportation.
Amtrak:
Amtrak will give a 10% discount to MALCS Summer Institute attendees. However, Amtrak is NOT available directly to Laramie. The nearest stop is at Union Station in Denver. From there, you would take light rail to Denver International Airport and then use Green Ride.

To book your reservation, call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 and be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X66B-951 when making your reservation. Convention fares cannot be booked via Internet. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. Local Travel:
Once you arrive to Laramie, you can get around town using the University of Wyoming Transit Services. You can also rent a car in the city of Laramie from Enterprise.
